Privacy Policy
Engage — a NXTVortex product · Last updated: August 31, 2026
This policy describes how the operating entity (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when businesses connect WhatsApp and related services to Engage through our Connect onboarding page and automation platform.
Information we process
- WhatsApp messaging data — message text, interactive button replies, sender phone numbers, and related metadata delivered by Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API webhooks when customers message a connected business number.
- Business configuration — business name, review URLs, trigger keywords, and WhatsApp credentials (such as phone number IDs and access tokens) provided during onboarding or setup.
- Technical logs — request timestamps, error diagnostics, and usage counters needed to operate and secure the service (hosted on Cloudflare Workers).
- Optional integrations — if enabled by the business, event summaries may be written to Google Sheets or other configured destinations.
How we use information
- Run automated WhatsApp workflows requested by the business (for example, review-request flows).
- Send replies through the WhatsApp Cloud API on behalf of the connected business.
- Store per-business settings required to route webhooks and deliver automations.
- Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers required to operate the product:
- Meta / WhatsApp — messaging delivery and onboarding via the WhatsApp Business Platform.
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage (KV), and edge processing.
- Google — only when a business explicitly connects Google-related features.
Retention
Business configuration and tokens are retained while the business remains connected. Message content used for automation is processed in transit; long-term retention depends on enabled integrations and operational logs. Businesses may request disconnection and deletion of stored configuration by contacting us.
Security
Secrets are stored as encrypted Worker/Pages secrets. Webhook and onboarding endpoints require shared secrets. Access tokens are scoped to WhatsApp permissions granted by the business during Meta Embedded Signup.
Your choices
Businesses control which WhatsApp number is connected and which automations run. End customers may stop messaging the business number at any time. Meta’s own privacy terms apply to use of WhatsApp.
